I was running through my RSS feeds this morning, and this jumped out at me:

The photos are from NASA's Juno spacecraft, and were colorized after the fact (the link contains more photos).

While we are on the topic of cool space photos (which, admittedly, is a little bit of a weird topic), here are some enhanced photos of Apollo 13:

Andy Saunders (you need to check out his Twitter feed) created the photos by stacking images taken from the 16mm film originals, and then applying color and lens correction. The BBC has a more in-depth explanation here.

Update (12 PM): It looks like Ars Technica picked the story up, and included some more photos and technical details.
